Job Description

As a seasoned business development professional, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base. Your primary responsibility will be to cultivate strategic relationships with key customers and stakeholders, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate closely with sales representatives to develop targeted business strategies that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach and relationship-building initiatives.
  3. Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans to drive revenue growth and expand market share.
  4. Engage with executive buyers and other decision-makers to build trust and rapport, ultimately leading to successful deal closure.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and market developments to ensure that our solutions align with customer needs and expectations.
  6. Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to develop and implement effective sales enablement strategies.
  7. Provide regular progress updates and insights to senior management, ensuring that business objectives are met or exceeded.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 7+ years of proven success in generating revenue growth in a sales and/or business development role.
  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience, preferably in a related field such as network security.
  • Strong understanding of SD-WAN architecture, including deployment models, routing protocols, and traffic management techniques.
  • Ability to develop and deliver compelling presentations and pitches that resonate with executive-level audiences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build trust and rapport with customers and stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field; Master's degree/MBA preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

  • SD-WAN: In-depth knowledge of SD-WAN architecture, including various deployment models, routing protocols, and traffic management techniques.
  • SASE: Familiarity with Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) architecture and its applications in network security.
  • WAN Optimization: Understanding of WAN optimization techniques, such as data compression and deduplication.
  • Network Security: Strong knowledge of network security technologies, including firewalls and intrusion prevention systems.
