Drainage and Stormwater Management Professional

The United Nations seeks a skilled professional to oversee drainage and stormwater systems in Brazil. This position requires exceptional technical support and management skills related to drainage policy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expertise and guidance on drainage policy development;
  • Create studies, projects, plans, and technical assessments for water supply and sewage management;
  • Negotiate with stakeholders from the public, private, and third sectors;
  • Manage tasks efficiently and meet deadlines;
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Sanitation Engineering, Environment Engineering, Civil Engineering, Urban Studies, or related fields;
  • Postgraduate degree (Stricto Sensu) in Sanitation Engineering, Environment Engineering, Civil Engineering, Public Administration, Public Policy, International Relations, Urban Studies, Social Sciences, or related fields;
  • A minimum of six years of experience providing technical support and management related to drainage policy;
  • Excellent written and proof-reading skills in Portuguese;
  • Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and Web search engines;
