Compensation Analyst

The role of Compensation Analyst is a critical component in ensuring the success of sales compensation programs. This position involves leveraging data analysis to provide actionable insights that optimize sales performance and drive strategic decision-making.

As a Compensation Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining recurring reports and dashboards using Tableau to track performance against targets, identify trends, and highlight areas for improvement.

You will conduct in-depth analysis of sales performance data, compensation plan effectiveness, and quota attainment to provide strategic recommendations to sales leadership.

Key responsibilities include identifying data discrepancies, working cross-functionally to resolve issues, and ensuring data integrity across all reporting.

Additionally, you will support the annual and ongoing sales compensation planning process through data modeling, impact analysis, and scenario planning.

Strong analytical skills, communication, and collaboration are essential for this role. You will prepare presentations and communicate complex analytical findings clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.

Proficiency in SQL and Salesforce.com (SFDC) is required, as well as experience with extracting, transforming, and loading data from various sources.

Collaboration with IT and other cross-functional teams is necessary to improve data accessibility and reporting capabilities.

Alignment with Sales Operations, Finance, and HR on compensation strategies and accurate data flow is also crucial.

This role requires a strong focus on providing high-quality analytical support to various stakeholders and responding to ad-hoc data requests.
