About the Role:

  • This position plays a vital part in ensuring the effectiveness and accuracy of sales compensation programs through robust analytics and reporting.
  • Using expertise in data analysis, provide actionable insights that optimize sales performance, drive strategic decision-making, and ensure equitable compensation for the sales force.
  • Develop, maintain, and automate recurring sales compensation reports and dashboards using Tableau to track performance against targets, identify trends, and highlight areas for improvement.
  • Analyze sales performance data, compensation plan effectiveness, and quota attainment to make strategic recommendations to sales leadership.
  • Support the annual and ongoing sales compensation planning process through data modeling, impact analysis, and scenario planning.
  • Present findings clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
  • Extract, transform, and load data from various sources, primarily utilizing SQL, to support compensation calculations and reporting.
  • Work extensively with Salesforce.com (SFDC) to extract sales performance data, understand sales hierarchies, and validate compensation-related information.
  • Collaborate with IT and other cross-functional teams to improve data accessibility and reporting capabilities.
  • Partner closely with Sales Operations, Finance, and HR to ensure alignment on compensation strategies and accurate data flow.
  • Respond to ad-hoc data requests and provide analytical support to various stakeholders.
