Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to oversee the commissioning process of data centers.

The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical engineering, preferably with a focus on data center projects, and be able to ensure all electrical systems are installed, tested, and operational according to project specifications and standards.

Main Responsibilities
  • Commissioning Planning and Execution:
    • Develop and review commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules.
    • Conduct inspections, tests, and validations of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and emergency systems.
    • Document and report findings, issues, and resolutions.
    • Monitor RFIs (Request for Information).
  • Coordination and Communication:
    • Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with project requirements.
    • Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders.
    • Participate in project meetings and provide updates on commissioning progress.
  • Quality Assurance and Control:
    • Ensure all commissioning activities comply with industry standards and client requirements.
    • Identify and resolve issues during the commissioning process.
    • Conduct quality audits and witness necessary site tests.
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans.
    • Monitor and report on the status of risk mitigation efforts.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Prepare and maintain commissioning documentation and reports, including Commissioning and Sequence of Energization Plans.
    • Ensure all necessary documentation is completed and approved.
    • Technical Analysis: executive design, inspection plans, commissioning reports (FATs, FWTs and site tests), technical specifications, submittals and test scripts.
  • Schedule:
    • Executive schedule monitoring.
    • Deliveries monitoring.
  • Additional Duties:
    • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably with a focus on data center projects.
  • Experience in LV/MV electrical equipment and systems commissioning processes and procedures is mandatory and highly desirable.

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
  • Certifications in commissioning, and MBA are a plus.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.
