We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Legal Operations Specialist to join our dynamic and innovative digital legal team at Media. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Legal Operations function and contributing to the implementation and enhancement of cutting-edge technologies and workflow applications to optimize the efficiency of our legal team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans to enhance the legal operations function and improve the efficiency of our legal team.
  • Assist in the automation of repetitive legal processes and the implementation of workflow applications to minimize inefficiencies.
  • Participate in the testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of new technical solutions to ensure seamless integration with our existing systems.
  • Document existing legal processes and create comprehensive workflow guides to ensure clarity and consistency.
  • Support the maintenance of legal knowledge management databases, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and organization of information.
  • Provide centralized support to establish standardized processes on a global scale, including the standardization of contract generation to maintain workflow consistency and data integrity.
  • Assist in handling legal ops department ticketing requests for various tools and processes.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with teams across the organization to ensure consistent implementation of automation solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript, and experience with cloud technologies like AWS or Azure, and database management systems.
  • Basic experience of technical project management or business operations.
  • Preferred experience working within the legal industry.
  • Preferred experience with Google Suite, Salesforce, e-Signature, eDiscovery, eBilling, CLM, project management systems, workflow automation tools, data visualization tools (dashboards), and other technology and applications commonly used to support the legal function.
  • Interest in becoming proficient in other tools used to support the legal function, including cutting-edge technologies.
  • A flexible approach to adjust and scale in response to evolving business requirements.
  • Demonstrate exceptional project management skills, efficiently prioritizing and managing deadlines for multiple concurrent projects.
  • Demonstrate the ability to learn and analyze legal and technical problems.
  • Ability to operate autonomously and work proactively with various teams across the organization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate legal concepts, policies, and documents in a clear and easily understandable manner.
  • Fluent in English
