Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a comprehensive strategic plan in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee the planning and implementation of surgical and health programs across the country.
  • Maintain close relationships with regional teams and international headquarters to ensure alignment with global standards.
  • Conduct regular monitoring and evaluation of programs, adjusting strategies as needed to improve outcomes.
Program Management
  • Manage and oversee the operational and programmatic budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, partners, and media representatives.
  • Recruit, motivate, and manage a skilled and committed team, focusing on staff well-being and professional development.
Financial Management and Compliance
  • Prepare quarterly and monthly financial reports for stakeholders, highlighting program achievements and challenges.
  • Establish robust financial systems to monitor and control expenses, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Governance and Board Management
  • Organize and lead regular meetings with the Board of Directors, providing accurate and detailed documentation.
  • Maintain open communication channels with the Board, ensuring their needs are met and concerns addressed.
Security and Risk Management
  • Implement and maintain effective security protocols to safeguard staff and assets.
  • Establish partnerships with local authorities and stakeholders to mitigate risks and ensure a secure working environment.
