The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing national marketing programs, initiatives, and materials dedicated to the disease awareness and positioning of products in Brazil.

This position works cross-functionally with internal departments and external resources on executing strategic marketing initiatives.

The Marketing Manager ensures adherence to relevant regulatory requirements and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed.

  • Contributes to strategic and tactical marketing planning and execution nationally.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve existing marketing campaigns and develops pragmatic solutions within budget constraints.
  • Establishes branding, positioning, and competition strategies to mitigate other key players in the market based on the launch and post-launch of products.
  • Communicates with LATAM Marketing Directors about marketing initiatives and project metrics, brainstorming fresh strategies.
  • Ensures compliance of marketing activities with all regulatory requirements, working collaboratively with legal, medical, and regulatory review committees for the development of marketing materials.
  • Supports commercial/country teams by facilitating local implementation of marketing materials and overseeing marketing material inventory.
  • Learns marketing-related projects, including planning and coordinating internal/external meetings, managing market research, multichannel strategy, and finding projects.
  • Supports planning and execution of key events and international congresses.
  • Facilitates budget management and tracking.
  • Develops and maintains project status reports.
  • Ensures strong collaboration cross-functionally and with internal teams to deliver aligned initiatives related to marketing content.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a marketing capacity
  • Experience working in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or related environments
  • Rare diseases segment experience desirable
  • Fluent English verbal and written essential
  • Familiarity with online content marketing and social media development strategies
  • Travel availability
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced matrixed team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent planning, organization, and project management skills
