Backend Developer Lead Opportunity

Yisrael Technology is seeking an experienced Backend Developer Lead to drive the design and development of backend systems for a U.S.-based SaaS platform.

As a key member of our senior engineering team, you will lead a team of backend engineers working with Go and cloud-native infrastructure. Your expertise in building distributed systems and designing high-concurrency services and APIs will enable us to deliver robust, full-stack solutions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of backend engineers and guiding them on best practices in code quality, testing, CI/CD pipelines, and documentation
  • Designing, architecting, and implementing high-concurrency services and APIs
  • Collaborating with frontend and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of products

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development, excellent leadership skills, and experience working with Kubernetes, Docker, and microservice architectures.

Requirements
  • 7+ years of backend development experience
  • 3+ years leading engineering teams or acting as Tech Lead
  • Expertise in Golang and building distributed systems
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and event-driven systems
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
