Import and Export Coordinator Role:

This key position plays a pivotal part in the organization's import/export processes. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of imports, guaranteeing compliance with documentation requirements while ensuring smooth shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Issuing purchase orders for imports, incoming invoices, and products received from imports into the system
  • Monitoring and controlling import processes in collaboration with the head office
  • Providing dedicated support to direct import customers throughout the order process until delivery of goods to the cargo agent
  • Preparing necessary documents for importing products, strictly adhering to established procedures and regulations
  • Carefully calculating import costs to accurately determine tax payments
  • Forwarding analysis certificates for documentation purposes
  • Participating in the QMS continuous improvement process
  • Conducting thorough investigations and defining corrective/preventive actions
  • Ensuring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are consistently met

Additional Duties:

  • Issuing export documents: invoice, packing list, and others
  • Requesting samples from suppliers and monitoring their receipt
  • Coordinating sample sending abroad and issuing an invoice for entry
  • Receiving export requests, following up on the process, and issuing required documents
  • Engaging customs clearance and agency services when necessary
  • Delivering copies of import, export, and exchange closing documents to accounting
  • Supporting tied import customers by preparing quotations and monitoring credits for release of goods
  • Meeting KPIs as per set standards

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Foreign Trade, Administration, or International Relations
  • Advanced English proficiency
  • Experience in data input using TOTVS ERP (EIC)

Work Environment:

Located in Santana de Parnaíba/SP, this is an in-person position with flexibility for travel between sites.
