Strategic Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Strategic Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. This role will have a strategic focus on building compelling financial presentations for senior leadership and external stakeholders, as well as developing and maintaining long-term financial models to support planning, forecasting, and decision-making processes.

The successful candidate will possess advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (financial modeling, scenario analysis, etc.) and strong experience in building strategic presentations (PowerPoint or Google Slides).

In addition, the ideal candidate will be able to synthesize data into actionable insights and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop Long-Term Financial Models: Create and maintain detailed long-term financial models (5–10 years) for scenario planning, business valuation, and strategic decision-making.
  • Build Executive-Ready Presentations: Prepare polished presentations that clearly communicate financial insights, business performance, and strategic initiatives.
  • Communicate Complex Data: Translate complex financial data into concise and impactful materials for senior management, board meetings, and investor relations.
  • Partner with Business Teams: Collaborate with business and strategy teams to incorporate key business drivers into the long-term model.
  • Schedule Budgeting and Forecasting Processes: Support budgeting and forecasting processes with sensitivity and scenario analysis.
  • Analyze Risks and Opportunities: Identify risks, opportunities, and trends in financial performance, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Evaluate Model Alignment: Ensure alignment between long-term models and short-term forecasts.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, or consulting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (financial modeling, scenario analysis, etc.).
  • Strong experience in building strategic presentations (PowerPoint or Google Slides).
  • Proven ability to synthesize data into insights and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience with planning/reporting tools (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive, Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Fluent in English; strong written and verbal communication skills.
