Job Overview

We are seeking a Payments Manager to oversee and support all aspects of payment operations in Latin America. The ideal candidate will have experience in payment or financial operations within fintech, e-commerce, or related sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end payment processes, including deposits, withdrawals, refunds, reconciliations, and customer queries
  • Manage and collaborate with local payment providers and banks to ensure optimal service and resolution of complex transaction issues
  • Monitor transactions in real time to detect, investigate, and respond to suspicious or fraudulent activity
  • Continuously evaluate payment workflows to identify and execute process optimizations that improve speed, reduce cost, and minimize errors
  • Lead operational enhancements through new workflows, SOPs, and process automation to support scalable growth

Requirements

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across internal teams and external partners

Demonstrated ability to lead projects and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in payment or financial operations within fintech, e-commerce, or related sectors
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Portuguese and/or Spanish is a strong advantage
