Cybersecurity Engineering Professional

The role of Cybersecurity Engineering Professional is a critical position that requires expertise in security service definition, engineering, architecture, and lifecycle governance of one or more security products.

This individual will be responsible for leading the design, engineering, and deployment of security technology platforms/services. They must establish cross-product technology integration working across different teams when required and be responsible for the lifecycle, technical roadmap, value metrics, and use case patterns for services and products.

  • Review emerging security technologies, new engineering techniques, and assess opportunities to implement
  • Serve as a senior engineer on priority initiatives, deployments, projects using our standard toolsets and services
  • Continue professional development through technical training and be recognized as a Cybersecurity Engineering Professional by internal groups
  • Define best practices for security products, standards, and quality metrics

This role requires strong relationships with peer security engineering teams, an understanding of automation/development methodologies, and experience with vendor management and product technology roadmaps. The ideal candidate should have excellent planning, organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills and experience leading global projects and geographically diverse teams.

Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 14+ years of related IT experience preferably in large enterprises
  • Strong understanding of architecture, engineering of Cloud-based Network Security, next-generation Firewalls, Internet protocols
  • Ability to establish strong relationships with peer security engineering teams and an understanding of automation/development methodologies
