Cybersecurity Instructor Position

Join a dynamic team of professionals in the field of cybersecurity as an instructor. This is a unique opportunity to share your knowledge and experience with students who are eager to learn.

This role requires a strong passion for teaching and staying up-to-date with the evolving field of cybersecurity. As an instructor, you will be responsible for leading live lessons, providing personalized support, and reviewing student projects.

  • Host regular live Q&A sessions to help students progress confidently
  • Offer one-on-one video calls to answer questions and guide assignments
  • Respond to student questions via direct messages
  • Lead live lessons on core program topics and industry-relevant skills
  • Share professional insights and best practices to support the learning community
  • Review student projects and provide feedback based on program standards
  • Write clear, actionable feedback to help students improve and meet expectations

We're looking for experienced professionals who have 3+ years of experience in the field of cybersecurity. If you have a strong background in tools such as Nmap, Wireshark, Metasploit, Burp Suite, Splunk, ELK, and more, we encourage you to apply.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of cloud security tools like CrowdStrike, Cisco SecureX, Prisma Cloud, and more. Additionally, they should have experience in incident response and crisis management within a business environment.

We offer a fully remote role with a consistent weekly schedule, 8-hour workdays, five days a week. Our experts undergo free in-house training to help them grow as skilled tutors and role models. We also offer opportunities to grow visibility as public experts in the field.

This position involves working with English-speaking students, so strong spoken communication is essential. We appreciate it if you have teaching or tutoring experience, or have your own experience as a student online and the desire to help create the best place to study Cybersecurity.

Requirements:
  • Experience in the field of cybersecurity (3+ years)
  • Familiarity with cloud security tools like CrowdStrike, Cisco SecureX, Prisma Cloud, and more
  • Experience in incident response and crisis management within a business environment
  • Strong background in tools such as Nmap, Wireshark, Metasploit, Burp Suite, Splunk, ELK, and more
  • Availability for full-time collaboration (approximately 40 hours per week)
  • A genuine passion for teaching and sharing knowledge
  • Fluent English: this role involves speaking directly with English-speaking students
