Job Summary

This is a Murex Support Specialist position. The successful candidate will have expertise in Murex 3.1 and strong technical capabilities.

The role involves providing system support on a variety of Murex implementation, configuration, and developments in various aspects of the platform, including datamart, MXML pre-trade and post-trade workflows, RTBS, and MDCS.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing and making recommendations based on related Murex implementation experience;
  • Coordinating and communicating with business and IT stakeholders to gather, document, and verify requirements;
  • Following client SDLC lifecycle and documentation requirements;
  • Supporting IT and business audits and technology risk assessments;
  • Performing technical reviews of production changes;
  • Writing clear and concise documentation of issues and resolution within Confluence;
  • Maintaining and enhancing the Control-M scheduling tool for intraday and end-of-day batches;
  • Dealing directly with business users across the bank to analyze and diagnose business-critical issues;
  • Providing detailed information about issues to vendors and coordinating with them in testing fixes/solutions;
  • Acting as an intermediary between business and vendors;
  • Debugging and enhancing bespoke Java processes supporting the Murex implementation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Minimum 2 years experience with Murex in a support capacity, strong technical capability, and solid understanding of datamart are required.
