Procurement Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and vendor management, purchasing strategy, inventory management, cross-functional collaboration, and sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sourcing & Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure the best prices, quality, and delivery terms.
  • Purchasing Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies that drive cost savings, quality improvements, and operational efficiency.
  • Inventory management: Collaborate with inventory management teams to ensure optimal stock levels and timely replenishment of products.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, quality, engineering, and quality teams to ensure that procurement aligns with product development and promotional strategies.
  • Sustainability Initiatives: Champion sustainable sourcing practices and collaborate with suppliers to promote environmentally friendly materials and processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement within the fashion retail industry.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong negotiation skills and experience with contract management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful procurement strategies.
  • Knowledge of sustainable and ethical sourcing practices.
