Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to lead our team in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance data systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, with experience in building and maintaining big data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable data systems, leveraging industry-leading technologies and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data systems with other business processes.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following best practices and adhering to coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Mentor junior engineers, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance team capabilities.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience working in the Data Engineering space, with a focus on building and maintaining big data pipelines.
  • 5+ years of experience working in agile environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in Spark and strongly-typed languages such as Java or Scala.
  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining RESTful APIs and integrating with external services.
  • Ability to write and maintain unit and integration tests based on acceptance criteria.
