As a seasoned professional in the field of solutions architecture, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technology landscape of our organization.
- Lead the design of comprehensive solution architectures for specific projects or business capabilities
- Analyze functional and non-functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Evaluate and recommend the best-fit technologies, frameworks, and platforms for each solution
- Produce clear and detailed architecture design documents, system context diagrams, integration diagrams, and API specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions adhere to all governance and compliance standards
- Provide ongoing technical guidance and oversight to agile development teams throughout the project lifecycle
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design: Develop end-to-end solutions that meet business needs, align with enterprise architecture standards, and are scalable, reliable, and secure
- Requirements Translation: Work with stakeholders to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into actionable technical plans
- Technology Selection: Evaluate and recommend the most suitable technologies and tools for each solution, balancing cost, performance, and strategic alignment
- Blueprint Creation: Produce detailed architecture design documents, system context diagrams, integration diagrams, and API specifications
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with enterprise architects, data architects, security teams, and infrastructure teams to ensure solutions meet all governance and compliance standards
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 4+ years in a Solution Architect, Technical Lead, or similar role
- Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP) and cloud-native architectures (Microservices, Serverless, Containers)
- Deep understanding of integration patterns, API design (REST, GraphQL), and middleware technologies
- Experience with modern development practices (DevOps, CI/CD, Agile/Scrum)
