Key Job Responsibilities
  • Payroll Process Compliance: Follow established payroll processes and procedures, ensuring accurate implementation of controls and adjustments as needed.
  • Vendor Validation: Verify the accuracy of payroll processing through third-party vendors based on HR data and local legislation requirements.
  • Process Oversight: Monitor and control area processes, including hiring, termination, vacation time, 13th salary, monthly payroll, profit sharing, and other relevant tasks.
  • Payroll Vendor Performance: Track the results and SLA of the payroll vendor to leverage the accuracy and quality of payroll calculations.
  • Compliance and Scheduling: Ensure adherence to monthly payroll schedules, applicable local legislation, and collective agreements.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is required.
  • Previous experience in LATAM payroll processing and validation, preferably in a shared services center or payroll outsourcing environment, is highly valued.
  • Detailed knowledge of LATAM legislation and taxes, particularly in Argentina, Colombia, and Mexico, is essential.
  • Strong accounting skills for payroll management are necessary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is expected.
  • Familiarity with HR systems, such as Workday or Success Factor, is considered an asset.
  • Advanced Spanish language skills are required.
