Lead Category Expert

As a seasoned category leader, you will be responsible for developing and executing the strategic direction of your assigned category.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute the strategy of its category of operation aligned with the guidelines of global management through the analysis of future demand, search for new suppliers or expansion/modification of the scope of current ones, which enable alignment with the needs of the business, such as: safety, quality, delivery, cost and local content;
  • Initiate and follow up the development process by identifying the need for new partners, performing the commercial analysis; give inputs to the suppliers quality area for quality and technical audits;
  • Monitor the performance of the suppliers of its category through the KPIs of the sector, acting in case of unsatisfactory performance, either by involving the Global team of its category (Global suppliers) and / or seek the development of alternative sources of supply (national suppliers);
  • Ensure the best commercial conditions and production capacity with suppliers for FMC projects through the development of medium-long term contracts
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in the supply chain through the analysis of purchased products
  • Assist the commercial area in the proposal phase of new projects, providing market information, quotes and cost estimates;

Requirements:

  • Engineering, Business Administration, Economics and related areas;
  • Purchase, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Execution Manager;
  • Advanced English;
  • SAP, office package. Desirable: Power BI;
