Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. This is a challenging role that requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure Design and Management: Contribute to the design and management of scalable, reliable, and efficient infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration between infrastructure and applications.
  • Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and analyze system performance, identifying bottlenecks and areas for improvement. Implement strategies to optimize resource allocation, reduce latency, and increase throughput.
  • Cost Management: Implement cost-saving measures, optimizing infrastructure costs without compromising performance. Utilize tools and techniques for monitoring resource usage, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing cost-saving measures.
  • Monitoring and Observability: Develop and maintain comprehensive monitoring and observability capabilities, ensuring actionable insights into infrastructure health and performance. Create dashboards, alerts, and logs that provide visibility into system performance and identify potential issues before they impact the system.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with developers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration between infrastructure and applications. Provide guidance and support on infrastructure-related topics, fostering a culture of shared responsibility for system reliability.
Requirements

We seek a highly skilled and experienced DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer who possesses a strong background in managing complex environments across cloud providers and bare-metal servers. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of designing, deploying, and managing Kubernetes clusters in production environments.

  • Kubernetes Mastery: Proven experience designing, deploying, and managing Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
  • Multi-Cloud and Bare Metal Expertise: Deep understanding of at least one primary cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and experience managing infrastructure on bare-metal servers.
  • Infrastructure at Scale: Demonstrated ability to architect and manage infrastructure that can scale horizontally and vertically, supporting a growing user base and increasing traffic.
  • Programming and Automation: Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Bash, Python).
  • Monitoring and Observability: Deep understanding of best practices for monitoring, logging, and observability, with experience using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Media Processing: Familiarity with video and audio processing, streaming, or related technologies is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with the Node.js environment and applications at scale: A strong advantage.
