Overview

Role Responsibilities
In this position, you will engage in the deployment of reliable and scalable physical infrastructure that supports businesses globally. Your role will involve:

  • Hands-on installation of fiber optic cabling, server racks, and other critical infrastructure components.
  • Understanding and managing the disposal of legacy equipment while ensuring data security.
  • Working independently and collaboratively with a diverse team to support infrastructure needs.
  • Participating in daily and weekly team meetings to track metrics and achieve goals.
  • Utilizing a ticketing system to manage work priorities and report progress.

Skills Development
As you receive on-the-job training, you will acquire cross-functional skills that enhance your expertise as a technician. Opportunities for contract extension or transition to a full-time role are available based on your performance.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and ticketing systems.
  • At least 2 years of experience in data center fiber optic cabling and network hardware.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and cabling best practices.
  • The ability to travel as required.
