Job Title: Data Collection Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled data collection specialist to support the implementation of a project in Juiz de Fora. The successful candidate will work closely with our teams and local partners to ensure data collection and processing are completed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support technical, administrative, and management activities to meet project objectives on time and with quality.
  • Extract, process, analyze, and present data from public databases, repositories, and statistics.
  • Assist in elaborating and calculating variables, indicators, and other related data.
  • Attend local meetings as requested by partners.
  • Ensure proper data collection and information.
  • Maintain orderly, standardized, and structured data records.
  • Collaborate with institutional knowledge mechanisms by compiling, reporting, and sharing information.
  • Responsible for ensuring all activities observe the principles of integrity.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Good computer skills in Microsoft Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Microsoft Teams, and Google (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms) are required.
  • Good handling of online event and conference tools is desirable.
  • Good knowledge on project management methodologies is desirable.
  • Secondary School or additional 2 years of relevant technical experience beyond the requirement.
  • A minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in project/programme management on development or similar field.
