We are seeking a skilled professional to join our organization as a Sales Engineer. This role requires a strong passion for customer success and collaboration within a dynamic environment.
As a Sales Engineer, you will drive compelling demos and proof of concepts showcasing security automation capabilities, integration with third-party services, and helping customers lower their time to identify and contain threats.
Your responsibilities will include listening to customer problems, working with the sales team, and demonstrating solutions. You will also provide Proof of Concept services to pre-sales clients, maintain ongoing customer relationships, and work in a fast-paced environment under minimal supervision.
You will share best practices with other SEs to enhance quality of service and efficiency, develop subject matter expertise in assigned products and solutions, and channel feature requests to Product Management to enhance our products.
Additionally, you will deliver partner presentations, events, and webinars, and be willing to travel regionally for customer-facing activities, as well as marketing and user group events.
Key qualifications for this role include a Computer Science degree or diploma, or combination of education and pre-sales experience in Security Software and Systems. Experience working with various Microsoft/Linux software and systems is also required.
A successful candidate should have solid multi-tasking, troubleshooting, and problem resolution abilities, as well as self-starter skills with the ability to quickly learn new concepts and technology using self-paced learning management platforms.
You should also have strong verbal and written communication, customer service, account management, and negotiation skills, with the ability to interface with a diverse set of clients including administrators and C-level executives.
Prior experience with Sales Engineering, Anti-malware, Intrusion Detection and Prevention, Data Loss Prevention, File Integrity Monitoring, Email and Web Security, Syslog, SIEM solutions, MITRE Attack Framework, and/or security operations center (SOC) functions is preferred.
