We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Systems Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-availability backend systems that power our games.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement robust core backend services that scale gracefully while being easy to understand and operate.
- Develop secure, performant, and resilient services that support matchmaking, player data, live ops, and multiplayer experiences.
- 5+ years of experience developing backend services and operating them at scale.
- Expertise with one or more server-side development languages such as Java/Kotlin, C#, Golang.
- Strong understanding of scaling distributed online systems and their impact on player experience.
- Knowledge of web protocols like Protobuf, Websockets, HTTPS.
- Building fault-tolerant distributed systems with security best practices.
- Experience with Linux-based operating systems.
