Technical Expert in Iron & Steel Sector

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Expert to join our team in the iron and steel sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical knowledge and best practices to improve operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metallurgical engineering or related fields, with experience in technical sales within the steel industry. You should possess excellent communication skills, analytical mindset, and proactive project leadership abilities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical expertise to clients on iron and steel processes, including rolling, casting, heat treatment, automation, and control.
  • Develop customized solutions to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Maintain CRM data accuracy and prepare sales reports and forecasts.
  • Represent the company at industry events, strengthening our network and brand.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to configure solutions, including technical, commercial, and contractual aspects.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Metallurgical, Materials, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience in technical or consultative sales within the steel industry.
  • Knowledge of steel processes such as rolling, casting, heat treatment, automation, and control.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong relationship-building and active listening skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a results-oriented approach.
  • Excellent communication skills in multicultural environments.
  • Strategic thinking and customer focus.
  • Proactive, autonomous project leadership.

Languages:

  • Advanced English (mandatory).
  • Spanish is a plus.
