The Role of Chief Marketing Officer

This is a strategic leadership position for a seasoned professional with expertise in performance marketing, particularly in the areas of information publishing, financial education, and crypto investing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the entire marketing department, overseeing key functions such as Paid Media, Organic Growth (Content, SEO, Social), and Affiliate Marketing
  • Define and drive the overarching marketing strategy aligned with business objectives
  • Build, coach, and scale a high-performing team of marketers, creatives, and strategists

Paid Media: Oversee ad spend across Meta, Google, YouTube, and native platforms. Ensure campaign profitability and scalability.

Organic Growth: Develop content strategies that grow brand visibility and thought leadership across various platforms. Oversee SEO strategy and execution, including traffic growth and keyword positioning.

Affiliate & Partnerships: Build and optimize a high-performing affiliate program using industry best practices and tracking platforms. Recruit top-tier partners and JV opportunities within the financial/crypto ecosystem.

Analytics & Optimization: Own marketing KPIs: CAC, LTV, ROAS, CPL, churn rate, etc. Implement robust reporting systems and data dashboards. Lead weekly/monthly performance reviews and iterative strategy adjustments.

Requirements
  • 10+ years in performance marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership/executive role. Proven ability to lead and scale marketing teams in a fast-growth environment
  • Direct response marketing background with a deep understanding of copy, funnels, and customer psychology
