About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop Support Lead to join our team at Tata Consultancy Services. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will be responsible for providing second-line IT support to our internal departments, ensuring the smooth operation of our desktop and laptop infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain our desktop and laptop inventory, ensuring that all devices are properly configured and up-to-date.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to our internal departments, resolving hardware and software issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for all ICT support-related subjects, ensuring that our knowledge base is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Collaborate with our IT teams to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring that our IT services are delivered to the highest standards.
  • Provide training and support to our internal teams, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to use our IT systems effectively.

Requirements:

  • Advanced English/Spanish language skills.
  • Experience in managing a team and providing technical support.
  • Strong knowledge of network and server administration, as well as hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
