We are seeking an experienced leader to direct the technical approach and execution for a main project in our ecosystem. They will be responsible for driving engineering teams to meet technical challenges, curating staffing levels across specializations, providing critical insight and feedback, and supporting project planning from the engineering perspective.

Key Responsibilities
  • Align disparate audiences on complex technical issues
  • Articulate challenges, risks, and trade-offs in a constructive way
  • Ensure feature request requirements are clear, consistent, and achievable
  • Manage and mentor engineering leads and individual contributors
  • Communicate cross-discipline with Design, Art, UI, and Production to understand goals and requirements
Requirements
  • A technical leader who excels at giving feedback and facilitating team success
  • Experience shipping AAA titles across multiple platforms
  • Experience with live, online multiplayer games, focusing on advanced networking, real-time physics, and dynamic services
  • Advanced C++ skills and experience with scripting languages, low-level debugging, and optimization
  • Impeccable problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Collaboration and relationship management with internal teams and external partners
  • Deep expertise in game product lifecycle, including technical requirements, team assembly, execution, and support systems
  • Unreal Engine 5 experience
  • Multidisciplinary solution architecture in Gameplay, Graphics, Audio, UI, Networking, and Physics
  • Passionate about personal development and continuous improvement
