Job Description

As an Account Associate at Orange, you will play a crucial role in driving organic growth and upselling cross-functional activities. You will be responsible for owning and driving the Quote to Order process and Sales Operations related activities for medium to large-sized accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Engagement and Support:
    • Drive organic growth upselling activities, defined as commercial moves, adds, and changes for existing customers covered by a signed contract without requiring new contract amendments.
    • Own customer governance structure for Sales Operations related activities, responsible for regular reports for assigned customers.
    • Execute customer requests and day-to-day account activities to maintain and enhance customer relationships, providing input and managing action plans for department responsibilities.
    • Engage with customers through face-to-face and/or remote interactions to support quote to order and organic growth related requests and opportunities.
    • Manage commercial inventory and prepare customers for adoption of digital platforms to enhance customer experience with Orange for quotes and ordering processes.
  • Bid Support and Non-Organic Growth Activities:
    • Support contract renewal, repricing, and project preparation activities to ensure standard quote to bill model execution.
    • Align with account managers, engagement managers, and/or bid managers to decide Go/no-go with Bid proposals related to Sales Operations.
    • Act as quality assurance and consultant to Bid teams regarding Sales Operations related topics to ensure information needed to create quotes and orders according to standard quote to bill process is received, obtained, and validated.
    • Validate and sign off contractual elements against standard quote to bill process related to Sales Operations topics, including customer request communication and tools, quote to order reporting, governance structure, disconnect process, payment terms, billing proposals, and standard product rules.
  • Quote to Order:
    • Act as owner of the quote to order cycle, ensuring quote to order performance is in line with customer expectations.
    • Own customer agreements and act on them where needed for sales operations matters.
    • Maximize profitability of organic growth.
    • Own customer-specific instructions and guidelines, including price books, processes, customer labeling, billing entities, and so on.
    • Cooperate and guide sales operations admins to deliver the quote to order cycle.
    • Proactively escalate pending actions, including KPI management.
    • Proactively initiate improvement projects to optimize the quote-to-order process and aim for Operational Excellence.
    • Proactively document and continuously develop customer-specific processes, templates, and requirements.
    • Support or take part in assigned improvement projects, including user acceptance tests and Service Request Tools.
    • Coordinate other resources assigned to the account for quote to order activities.
