Job Description

The Engineering Manager plays a pivotal role in leading high-performing engineering teams. Their key responsibilities include hiring, mentoring, and growing engineers through regular feedback, developing deep product knowledge, and delegating responsibilities effectively.

  • Hire, mentor, and grow engineers through regular 1:1s and continuous feedback, with a strong focus on high performance.
  • Keep the team engaged, motivated, and consistently challenged to exceed expectations.
  • Develop deep product knowledge and support your team in doing the same.
  • Delegate responsibilities effectively to ensure ownership and accountability.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve technical challenges.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Must have hands-on experience with Java or Golang, and proficiency with relational databases. The ideal candidate will also have experience working with cloud platforms, distributed systems, and event-driven architecture.

  • 3+ years managing high-performing engineering teams.
  • Upper Intermediate English Level (B2).
  • Must be based in Brazil.
