Senior Geotechnical Specialist Position\

As a leading authority in geotechnical engineering, we are seeking an experienced Senior Geotechnical Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide expert technical support to the company's operations and contribute to new project development and evaluation.


\Key Responsibilities:\

  • Conduct thorough analysis and design of offshore and onshore geotechnical structures using advanced software such as Plaxis and Slope W.\
  • Review and validate engineering packages prepared by others to ensure compliance with industry standards.\
  • Develop and interpret code requirements for geotechnical designs, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations.\
  • Assess and carry out comprehensive geotechnical analysis for various structures.\
  • Participate in the development and review of engineering standards to maintain excellence in practice.\
  • Conduct vendor assessments and technical evaluations for geotechnical commodities.\
  • Perform site inspections and assessments of existing structures to identify potential issues.\
  • Support innovative programs and strategic initiatives to drive business growth.\
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and assess their application in civil and geotechnical engineering.\
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and specialists to enhance their skills and knowledge.\
  • Foster collaboration with colleagues to achieve project goals and objectives.
\Requirements:\
  • \
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.\
  • Professional Engineering or Chartered Engineering Certification.\
  • Minimum 20 years of professional experience in geotechnical engineering design.\
  • Strong understanding of geotechnical design principles and standards.\
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.\
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
