Geotechnical Specialist - Offshore & Onshore Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Specialist to join our Civil and Structural Engineering Division. As an offshore and onshore geotechnical expert, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our operations and supporting new projects development and evaluation.

Your primary role will involve conducting analysis and design of offshore/onshore geotechnical structures using geotechnical analysis software such as Plaxis, Slope W, APILE. You will also perform design review of engineering packages prepared by others in support of ongoing Capital and Maintain Potential projects.

You will develop and interpret code and standard requirements for offshore/onshore geotechnical designs, assess and carry out geotechnical analysis, including offshore and onshore structures. Additionally, you will participate in Engineering Standard development and reviews, conduct vendor technical assessments for geotechnical commodities, and conduct geotechnical inspections and assessments of existing structures.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering.
  • Master's Degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering or PhD in relevant field.
  • Professional Engineering or Chartered Engineering Certification.
  • Minimum 20 years of professional engineering design experience.
  • Familiarity with geotechnical design standards.
  • Flexibility to travel both domestically and internationally.
  • Advanced English communication skills - verbal and written.
