**Mortgage Loan Originator Role Overview**

 

As a mortgage loan originator, you will engage with clients and prospects nationwide to manage inbound and outbound calls. You will utilize cutting-edge AI technology and marketing tools to receive leads and inquiries, guide clients through their mortgage needs, and deliver essential information.

 

Key aspects of this role involve building and nurturing strong relationships with clients, analyzing financial scenarios, and offering tailored solutions in a high-call-volume, fast-paced environment. While we provide leads and Realtor connections, we also encourage proactive efforts to grow your client base through exceptional service.

 

The responsibilities include handling high call volumes, demonstrating exceptional time management skills, providing accurate information, building strong rapport with clients, assisting with mortgage inquiries, and working closely with sales and loan officer teams to ensure seamless communication and process flow.

 

You will also engage with clients to identify suitable mortgage products, lock loans at the point of sale, and submit preliminary paperless loan packages. Furthermore, you will ensure adherence to 14-day close requirements and loan stipulations.

 

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

 

For this position, key qualifications include a current, valid NMLS license or appointment in good standing, minimum two years of sales experience, and at least two years as a Mortgage Loan Originator or related experience. Newly licensed applicants must have a minimum of five years of sales experience and be willing to undergo a month of training.

 

Additionally, you should possess excellent communication and phone etiquette skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail. Experience in a call center or customer service role, particularly in the mortgage or finance industry, is an advantage.
