Strategic Partnership Development Director

The Strategic Partnership Development Director is responsible for cultivating meaningful relationships with potential and current major gift donors to secure financial support for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop strategic relationships with major gift donors and prospective donors to secure a minimum of $1 million annually in philanthropic support.
  • Assess capacity, determine inclination, and identify donors' passions for areas of support through face-to-face visits.
  • Develop a pipeline of major gift solicitations from assigned prospects.
  • Plans and executes strategies to qualify, cultivate, and solicit major gift-rated prospects in your portfolio and region in support of institutional fundraising priorities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Five to eight years of work-related experience in a development position with external relationships strongly established.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a passion for cultivating meaningful relationships.
  • Ability to write compelling proposals and present them persuasively.
