About the Position

This role is a key part of our efforts to promote socially and environmentally sustainable urban development in Latin America and the Caribbean. We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as an Implementation Assistant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.

  • The Implementation Assistant will be responsible for assisting in supervising community activities, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • They will also participate in planning, organization, and implementation of community activities, taking charge of Head of Implementation responsibilities in absence.
  • The role involves monitoring and tracking field and training activities to ensure deadlines and standards are met, identifying issues and proposing solutions to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Key responsibilities include overseeing report preparation of field and training activities, ensuring processes comply with applicable standards and regulations.
  • The successful candidate will support training and capacity building initiatives for local teams, organize events and training programs focusing on logistics and execution.
  • They will establish effective communication with teams, stakeholders, and partners, acting as liaison and representing the project in meetings, events, and community interactions as needed.
  • The Implementation Assistant will engage the local community in project initiatives, ensuring alignment with their needs.
  • They will produce quarterly detailed reports on training and field activities, materials provided, activities and challenges faced in the field, and performance indicators.
  • Additionally, they will produce monthly reports on personal work activities.
