Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Expert to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in implementing and maintaining quality management systems, with a strong understanding of ISO 9001 standards.

This role will involve preparing and monitoring technical responsibility annotations, developing and managing internal and external documents, and planning and conducting training activities.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for monitoring and updating nonconformities, corrective actions, preventive actions, and improvement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, monitor, and manage Technical Responsibility Annotations (ARTs) for projects;
• Develop and manage internal and external documents (procedures, instructions, forms, process maps, and project templates) to maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001 standards;
• Plan and conduct training, education, and awareness activities to ensure proper dissemination and implementation of required team procedures for the QMS;
• Manage, control, and update the QMS document database;
• Monitor and update nonconformities, corrective actions, preventive actions, and improvement opportunities;
• Manage, control, and update the database of nonconformities, corrective actions, preventive actions, and improvement opportunities;
• Monitor and update quality plans and other necessary plans to ensure compliance with the Quality Management System;
• Participate in and support internal and external audits;
• Perform other activities related to the QMS as needed;
• Comply with company safety, health, quality, and environmental standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering, Quality, and/or Business Administration;
• Experience in implementing, maintaining, and/or certifying Quality Management Systems;
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and standards related to ISO 9001;
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
• English and Spanish are considered a plus.
