Business Analysis Role Overview

The position of Business Analyst is critical to the success of our organization. We are seeking a highly skilled professional with expertise in business and functional requirements analysis, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

  • Gather and Analyze Requirements: The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering and analyzing detailed business and functional requirements to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Translate Business Needs into Technical Specifications: Strong technical writing skills are essential to translate complex business needs into concise technical specifications for development teams.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to identify pain points, improvement opportunities, and develop effective solutions.
  • Documentation and Communication: Create clear and concise documentation including business requirement documents (BRDs), use cases, process flows, and user stories to facilitate effective communication among team members.
  • Project Management Tools: Utilize JIRA to manage tasks, requirements, and issue tracking throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Quality Assurance: Support QA teams with requirements validation and participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) as needed.
  • Progress Tracking: Conduct regular meetings with business units and technology teams to ensure alignment and progress tracking.

Key Qualifications

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in IT or software development environments.
  • JIRA Skills: Strong hands-on experience with JIRA for project and requirements tracking.
  • Technical Writing: Proficient in writing Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, and Technical Documentation.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English.
  • Cross-Functional Teams: Ability to interact with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, and business stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
