We are seeking a Corporate Development professional to provide strategic business services to companies within the Perseus Group.
The ideal candidate will possess strong relationship-building skills, experience in business development, and a passion for long-term career growth in software investing.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain strategic relationships with CEOs, corporate development executives, and other key decision-makers in the software industry.
- Develop and manage an M&A pipeline through Salesforce CRM, creating market maps and driving meaningful conversations.
- Meet and exceed monthly M&A targets, including contacts and measurable KPIs.
- Qualify opportunities at the top end of the acquisition funnel to maintain focus for Portfolio Managers.
- At least 3+ years of experience in business development or client-facing M&A/finance roles.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills, with executive presence to speak with CEOs and other senior professionals.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work variable hours.
- Extraordinary work ethic and proactive approach.
- This role requires occasional in-person travel to locations across North and South America, primarily performed remotely.
Success is defined by building meaningful relationships that lead to acquisitions, delivering high-quality market research, and achieving measurable outcomes.
