Medical Device Inspector

This position involves performing quality control inspections of medical devices, components and raw materials to ensure compliance with product quality plans, specifications and requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure adherence to federal and state laws, as well as company standards and specifications.
- Perform visual, functional and dimensional inspections across all stages of production.
- Communicate quality or concerns with urgency.
- Apply Good Manufacturing Principles (GMP) in all areas of responsibility including 21CFR820, ISO13485, EU MDR, MDD and CMDR Standards and regulations.
- Correct or escalate quality or compliance concerns.
- Follow established Standard Operating Procedures.
- Responsible for preventative maintenance activities.
Strong analytical skills are required to identify and troubleshoot issues. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is also essential.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Quality control inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of GMP and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
