Job Title

Seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Professional to manage our company's cash flow by ensuring accurate record-keeping, reconciling customer accounts, and processing incoming payments.

This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with internal teams and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Payment Processing & Reconciliation
  • Accurately generate and issue customer invoices on time.
  • Record and reconcile incoming payments, ensuring correct allocation to customer accounts.
  • Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments.
  • Process credit notes, adjustments, and refunds as necessary.
  • Aging Reports & Compliance
  • Reconcile customer accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
  • Prepare and analyze aging reports to track overdue accounts.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities with necessary reports and reconciliations.
  • Customer Communication & Collections
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding payment terms and negotiate payment arrangements when necessary.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers by addressing payment-related inquiries and disputes.
  • Work closely with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Process Improvement & Risk Management
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the team to implement best practices in accounts receivable management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, finance, or accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes, invoicing, and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills for customer interactions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Knowledge of credit risk assessment and collections strategies.
  • Familiarity with automated accounts receivable systems.
