We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operations Leader to oversee our warehouse operations in Recife. This critical role involves managing processes on a specified shift or across multiple shifts.
About the Role- Lead and supervise a team of Area Managers and hourly associates in outbound and/or inbound operations for the night shift.
- Ensure overall safety, quality, performance, and customer experience of the shift.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Meet and exceed operational goals.
- Strategic planning, forecasting, performance appraisal, employee rewards and discipline, problem resolution, and staffing needs.
- Mentor, train, and develop teammates for career progression and learning.
- Share best practices across shifts and the network.
- Drive process improvements and motivate teams in a deadline-driven environment.
- Manage staffing plans, schedules, quality initiatives, performance levels, process change initiatives, and process improvement projects.
- Oversee a team of approximately many employees in a fast-paced environment, including career development plans for direct reports.
- Set expectations for Area Managers and Team Leaders.
- Collaborate with support teams (HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety & Security, IT) to support projects and initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Administration, Economy, Data Processing, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields.
- Experience managing teams and performance management.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Fluent Portuguese and advanced English skills.
- Operations or logistics experience.
- MBA or postgraduate degree.
- Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and process improvement expertise.
- SQL and advanced Excel skills.
- Potential mobility or relocation to Northeast Brazil.
