The role of a Clinical Trials Director is pivotal in supporting the success of clinical trials programs and initiatives. The Clinical Trials Director will work on a part-time basis, collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve project goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of clinical trials programs.
- Attend key meetings and provide input on trial feasibility, investigator selection, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with epidemiologists to develop protocols and IRB submissions for evaluating participants.
- Design and implement the clinical pillar of the Personalized Medicine Initiative.
- Review select clinical research proposals from junior faculty members.
- Provide ongoing mentorship to fellows and junior staff and faculty members.
- Possess an MD degree and active licensure in the District of Columbia.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical trials design and oversight.
