Embedded Software Test Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in powertrain or vehicle domain and excellent problem-solving skills.

The embedded software test engineer plays a crucial role in the verification and validation of software and applications running on embedded systems. Key responsibilities include:

  • Functional testing, platform testing, network management cybersecurity, functional safety, and diagnostics;
  • Developing test designs against system requirements;
  • Managing test cases in HP ALM;
  • Executing tests on hardware-in-the-loop systems;
  • Collaborating with verification engineers and project development stakeholders.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanics, Automotive, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field;
  • Strong technical skills in powertrain or vehicle domain;
  • Knowledge of embedded software design processes;
  • Experience in embedded software testing (minimum 2-3 years of test experience);
  • Test techniques (test certificate, ISTQB is an asset);
  • Requirement management experience;
  • HP ALM experience;
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills;
  • Understanding of Matlab/Simulink and Vector Tooling;
  • Demonstrated communication skills, professionalism, result-orientation, and customer-orientation.
