Job Title

Acquire and Procure Essential Goods and Services

  • Assist in the acquisition of materials, services, and equipment by following established purchasing procedures to process all purchase orders.
  • Compile requests for materials, prepare purchase orders, track purchases, and handle inquiries about orders ensuring timely delivery and compliance with requirements.


Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in purchasing is a must.
  • AA degree in business or related field is required.
  • Advanced verbal and written English skills are essential.
  • Knowledge of ISO9100 is required and AS9100D Quality Management Systems is preferred.
  • Computer skills with knowledge of ERP/MRP, Excel spreadsheets, and Word are necessary.
  • Knowledge of Oracle ERP EBS computer system is beneficial.
  • Demonstrated cost savings/cost reduction history and an understanding of LEAN inventory management strategies are advantageous.
  • Accounting and financial understanding (Cost of Sales, Fixed assets, Invoicing, Purchasing) are necessary.
  • Knowledge of inventory tracking & control (Physical inventories, Fixed assets, Min-Max, etc.) is beneficial.
  • CPSM/ C.P.M. / APICS certification is a plus.
