Decarbonization Specialist

Job Overview:

  • Develop and execute the regional Decarbonization Strategy in collaboration with supply chain managers, aligning with global sustainability objectives.
  • Monitor compliance with regional sustainability legislation, assessing its impact on supply chain operations and adapting strategies as necessary.
  • Lead research and evaluation of new decarbonization technologies, including alternative fuels and emissions reduction innovations.
  • Manage and oversee decarbonization projects within the region, including participation in industry collaborations and securing funding opportunities.

Key Objectives:

  • Reduce carbon footprint and greenhouse gas emissions through strategic initiatives and partnerships.
  • Improve supply chain efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to promote decarbonization best practices and engage in joint projects to achieve emissions reduction targets.

Role Responsibilities:

  • This role will support the coordination, execution, and reporting of strategic roadmaps to deliver on Americas decarbonisation goals, covering CHEP operations.
  • The primary focus will be on the Latin America and US markets, with a secondary focus on the Canada market.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree completed
  • Data analytics skills
  • English proficiency (90%)
