Business Development Representative

Job Description:

  • Represent a multinational consumer products company in a commercial capacity, fostering strong relationships with partners built on trust and respect.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth across various product categories, enhancing distribution levels and market share while adhering to business principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Execute commercial strategies effectively, ensuring optimal execution of the 5Ps at the point of sale, aiming to create value for customers and the company alike.
  2. Achieve assigned territory sales objectives through proactive understanding of customer needs and recommending tailored solutions to meet the diverse requirements of the retail environment.
  3. Monitor territory performance, promoting regular Joint Vision Planning (JVP) and Town-to-Town meetings to align goals and progress.
  4. Plan and organize administrative activities, including budget control, monitoring and payment of activities, maintaining an updated price list, stock, promotional quota, contact matrix, and current account control.
  5. Ensure compliance with credit policies established by the company.
  6. Conduct field visits to monitor planned activities, observe competition, identify opportunities, and share insights with the commercial team to develop effective strategies responding to market changes.
  7. Maintain proactive communication with customers to present quarterly plans, JVPs, launches, promotions, tabloids, price reductions, and all available sales tools.
  8. Analyze information generated through tools (Neogrid/Nielsen/IQVIA) to make informed decisions driving business growth, such as promotions clubs, negotiations, and monitoring of growth plans, increased distribution, market share growth, productivity, loyalty, etc.
  9. Utilize Super Clube as a tool to accelerate sell-through and develop sales strategies.
  10. Train customer and store teams on campaigns, product launches, and other relevant topics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Engineering is desirable.
  • Experience in the commercial area, preferably in fast-moving consumer goods or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Proficiency in Google tools, Office, IQVIA, Neogrid, and Nielsen.
  • Data & Analytics skills, utilizing information to generate insights.
  • Willingness to relocate to Belo Horizonte or already residing there.
