This role requires a Tax Preparer Assistant who can inspire clients to make confident decisions about their lives, careers, and finances.
Key Responsibilities- The Tax Preparer Assistant will assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
- During the closing of the interview, they will assemble the tax return, obtain required signatures, review the finished product with the client, and complete bookkeeping procedures.
- This position ensures that all clients receive exceptional service.
- The team may assign additional duties.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
- The individual must possess reading and math skills to begin and finish the tax return interview successfully.
- This role requires effective communication skills in person and on the phone.
- The ideal candidate should have experience with Windows-based computer programs.
