Job Description

Bloomberg Intelligence is seeking an equity analyst to cover the Latin American Consumer sector. The ideal candidate will leverage their knowledge of the consumer sector to create research regularly, monitor major company developments, and identify macro themes and trends.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, differentiated content and curating our data offerings. This includes managing earnings cycles, collaborating with global Bloomberg Intelligence analysts and strategists, engaging with investors, industry professionals, and company management, and working with Data teams to ensure data quality and completeness.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Substantial experience in Equity Research, focusing on Consumer companies in Latin America.
  • Fluency in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
  • Deep knowledge of the Latin American Consumer sector.
  • Experience interpreting financial statements and performing financial analysis.
  • Knowledge of finance and accounting practices.
  • Strong research and writing skills in English.
  • Proficiency in Excel and/or Python.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and collaborative.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent; CFA, MBA, or similar preferred.
