About the Role:

The Area Sales Executive will be part of the International Business team within the Global Commercial Organization at Royal Enfield North America. This role will be responsible for managing the sales function for the region and providing support to the leadership team and stakeholders in continuous development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the achievement of sales goals for wholesalers and retailers, profitability, and growth of the region for motorcycle and non-motorcycle business.
  • Provide data for all reports as needed, including sales funnel metrics.
  • Management and generation of leads.
  • Motorcycle demand analysis, forecast, stock, and orders control.
  • Work with the marketing team to ensure effective implementation of marketing plans for the region.
  • Sales incentives proposition, including cooperative marketing and sales activations.
  • Ensure proper credit limits for healthy operations.
  • Establish a healthy and long-term relationship with distributor partners.
  • Continuous improvement of customer satisfaction.
  • Notification of deviations of distributors according to established rules and procedures.
  • Business consulting and negotiation of action plans for the region.
  • Continuous capability development by developing, leading, and motivating sales teams with training and results seeking.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or related fields.
  • 6+ years of experience.
  • Prior experience of running regional sales areas in the automotive industry, specifically motorcycle sales.
  • Good understanding of target audiences and insightful triggers and barriers that govern their usage and purchase behavior.
